I graduated from grad school at the age of 29.  Finally, instead of paying lots of money for the privilege of working very hard, I now was going to work and actually get paid money.  As a mathematician, I have this drive to find a problem to solve.  During my first day on the job, I decided that work was overrated, and the problem I would solve was:  "How can I retire as quickly as possible?"  Seven years later, at the age of 36, I retired.
